							<description>The Rocky Mountain Center for the Blind has purchased the Bow Mar Apartments, a two-building multi-family complex at 5871-5873 South Lowell Boulevard in Littleton, for $2,415,000.  The acquisition represented a sale price of approximately $125/sf for the 19,200sf, twenty four unit complex or $100,625/unit.  The cap rate on the sale equaled approximately 5%.  The Buyer intends to occupy the property to house affiliated residents.  The Seller - Friendly Property, LLC was exclusively represented by Sperry Properties, Inc. 

Located near the intersection of Platte Canyon Blvd and Bowles, the Bow Mar Apartments total 19,200 square feet and consist of twenty four two bedroom units. Built in 1996, the property was in new condition with very high historical occupancy.  The Bow Mar Apartments are surrounded on three sides by the new Wynetka Ponds Park. 

Bryan Sperry of Sperry Properties, Inc. represented the Seller and RC Myles of Cassidy Turley Fuller represented the Buyer.  Sperry Properties, Inc. has been retained by the new ownership to handle the leasing and management of the property.</description>

Kevin Hastings has more than 5 years experience in the commercial real estate industry and most recently served as a broker associate with Sheldon Gold Realty in Aurora, CO. During his career, Kevin’s areas of specialization include negotiating office lease and sales transactions, and working with clients to buy and sell investment and user properties.  Kevin has handled more than forty lease and sales transactions exceeding over 90,000 square feet of mid sized commercial property. 

Kevin will continue his focus on mid sized buyer and tenant representations while adding additional landlord leasing and sales assignments. He has had a strong focus on tenant and buyer representation assignments in the Southwest Denver corridor, and has recently represented clients, including DCPRO Powercom, Eskimo Ski & Board Shop, Mountain View Bank, Basic Earth Sciences, and Blue Tip Energy. 

Kevin is an active member of the Mile High Exchangers, a group of professional real estate brokers that facilitate the exchange of investment properties. He has been an enthusiastic member and supporter of the Brighton Economic Development Corporation, which supports Brighton Redevelopment efforts. He has also been a member of the Broomfield Chamber of Commerce and the South Metro Chamber of Commerce.

A native of Colorado, Kevin’s background includes a degree in Business Administration, which he earned while working in the Intelligence Field for the US Navy. Kevin then worked for a series of successful start-up startup IT companies and traveled overseas as a consultant for Oracle Corporation in Auckland, New Zealand.
